Sat 22nd May. We were home to Watford.. Lovely
weather the green was fast and received many compliments. We lost
by just 2 shots.
2009
Having had good results in the
county Lge
the club
was therefore in the West Area play off's.
There we
beat Bushey in the morning and A/Langley in the afternoon to be West
Area Champions.
Unfortunately
we were unsuccessful in the whole County playoff's
As to the
W/D Finals the club had Les Harland in the Champion of Champion's
Derek
Walton & John Hurley in the Australian Pairs.
Frank
Potter in the Past Presidents Final.
Brian
Howard in the Singles Final
And not to
be beaten the Clubs Veterans Red Team won the 1st division Lge title
with the Blue team getting promotion from the 3rd to the 2nd division,

Lastly the
Club again finished the Lge season in 3rd place.
