Ian Mclachlan and Derek Pearce invite all new members and any one who is thinking of joining our club,
to our Monday Drive Nights. They start Monday 10th May . 6pm start.
If you come wearing flat soled shoes we can provide you with some bowls and a fun evening.
It is also a chance to have a look round and the opportunity to learn all about the club.

Gala Day this year is 21st August.
We need volunteers to help with the catering teas and bar.
If we have enough help  it just means 2-3 hours of enjoyable work.

On 24.June Croxley Ladies played away to North Watford.  The friendly team, skipped by Vice Captain Carol Rudge, won magnificently score 23 - 7.
The league team, skipped by Jackie Childs had a very close game from the start but lost on the last end.  Final score being 16 - 15 to Nth Watford.  Their lowest losing score to date!!!!

Reason is their involvement in Griffin Cup Semi
 
I am at the club Tuesday morning, as I have my inlaws staying all week plus other guests on the weekend, I will not be at the club often next week
 
I will pick the Evening squad on Tuesday plus the game next Sunday Garston
 
Please notify Jean Morris, Mary Thurley, Rodger Kircher and Roy Cook of the new date

Since our narrow defeat at North Watford Croxley Ladies have pulled themselves together!!
On 3rd July we beat Radlett on their own green.  At that time they were joint leaders of the league tying with Garston Ladies.
We followed this by beating Abbotts Langley on our own green on the 8th July.
Today, 27th July we won against Potten End, again on our own green.  Halfway through the match the score was 19 - 1 for Croxley but then Potten End started to catch up but Croxley pulled themselves together the final score being 26 - 20 for Croxley.
Mention must be made of Jackie Childs who has skipped us through our losses and wins always encouraging regardless of the score.

Unfortunately I have had two games cancelled, against Garston and the other by Eastcote - reason only six names available
 
I have 10 names for the Oxhey game so have half picked the team, Les is looking for volunteers for Tea duty to help out Rita & Ken Cella
 
I am at the club Friday night and will complete the selection sheet
